The People

El Equipo

We're educators and community facilitators from La Rioja who understand the informal economy from the inside. We've worked alongside the people we now teach.

Our Facilitators

People who know your world

Our team brings together experience in community education, adult learning, and the practical realities of informal work in Argentina's interior provinces.

Female financial education facilitator smiling at workshop

Claudia Ramos

Lead Facilitator

Claudia has spent over a decade working in adult education programs across La Rioja. She developed the core methodology for these workshops after years of listening to tradespeople describe the same financial frustrations — and recognizing that existing resources were never designed for them. Her approach is practical, patient, and grounded in real-life scenarios from the trades she knows best.

Marcos Villalba

Community Educator

Marcos grew up in a family of builders and spent years working construction before transitioning into community education. He bridges the gap between financial concepts and the lived experience of workers who manage cash daily. His sessions are known for being direct, jargon-free, and deeply respectful of how participants already handle their money.

Workshop coordinator setting up materials for a financial education session

Valeria Soto

Program Coordinator

Valeria coordinates the logistics and participant support for all workshop groups. She ensures that sessions are accessible — in terms of location, timing, and materials — for workers who have irregular schedules and can't always commit to fixed weekly appointments. She also handles participant follow-up between sessions.

Our Approach

How we think about teaching money

We didn't take a standard financial literacy curriculum and adapt it. We built from scratch, starting with the actual questions informal workers ask.

We Listen First

Every workshop group is different. We spend the first session understanding how each participant currently manages money before introducing any new ideas.

Practical, Not Theoretical

We don't teach financial theory. We work through real scenarios from real trades — the kind of situations participants recognize from their own week.

Respect for Experience

Participants arrive with years of experience managing their finances under pressure. We build on what already works — we don't start from zero or dismiss existing habits.
